Certified organic cotton

Certified organic cotton must be developed according to strict, third-party certified standards which minimize the negative impact on the soil, the air, and the water. Pesticides and other chemicals are not used, and in fact are replaced with natural, sustainable methods, such as using ladybugs to control insect populations and secure healthy crops. Certified organic cotton is farmed without the use of pesticides, genetically modified seed or synthetic fertilizers. The soil is built up over the years to retain moisture and fungus enabling in our case the organic cotton to prosper on a dry land (non-irrigated) farm.
